Your certified guide to
an empowered birth &
peaceful postpartum Experience
I spent the first several years of my adult life trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. As a child, I dreamed of being… a garbage man. Once I got a little older, I began to feel a pull to help others, I just struggled to figure out exactly how. At 20 years old, I joined the Air Force in hopes of finding stability, building confidence, and forging a pathway to an education on someone else’s dime. And I did exactly all of those things during my eight years serving. I finished my bachelors degree in psychology shortly after I separated in 2020, and began my trek to earning my masters degree in social work the semester that followed.
I got halfway through my masters program when I got pregnant with our daughter, Emma. Prior to getting pregnant, my husband and I struggled with infertility and we experienced four consecutive losses over the course of a year. Through our excruciating infertility journey, a fire in my belly sparked to become an advocate for myself and all of the babies we lost. That spark turned into a raging fire, and continues to burn for every other woman who embarks on the journey of bringing sweet babies into this world. I am hellbent on creating an atmosphere of respect, honoring your birth wishes, making you feel ultimately and infinitely empowered by your birth experience.
I am a certified childbirth educator, and birth & postpartum doula. With my certifications, I hope to help you achieve your dream birth and prepare you to have a beautiful and peaceful postpartum period through education and consultation. Above all, I am a wife to my wonderful husband, Eric and mother to our beautiful daughter, Emma.

Childbirth Education
Education is the most valuable resource you can take into your birth. And what the hospital will supply you with is NOT adequate. Understanding your rights, what is required from you when birthing in a hospital, being aware of your choices in childbirth, and knowing risks and benefits of every decision you will be faced with is the critical first step in understanding the changes happening in your body and planning your birth. Courses provide information on physiological labor, interventions and how to navigate common courses of action, maternal and fetal monitoring, what to expect during and after delivery, and lots more.
virtual birth planning
Gain access to resources and worksheets designed to help you make informed decisions surrounding your birth. Package options that include one-on-one virtual calls, side-by-side birth planning, and access to valuable resources and documents.
It is strongly recommended that you take one of the childbirth education courses prior to planning your birth (whether with H.E.R. or another doula/educator you love), but is not required.
